As well as the usual abundance of Croatian cuisine to savour, other highlights at this year’s event include:

• Adelaide’s own HFS Lenek - ‘Lenek’ is one of Australia’s largest Croatian folkloric dance ensembles and has its own 6 piece string band.
• Special guests from Melbourne, folkloric dance ensemble ‘Hrvatska Zora’ (Croatian Dawn)
• From Geelong, folkloric dance ensemble HKUD ‘Lado’

Also performing on the day will be:

• Popular Melbourne Croatian band — ‘Revolver’ — featuring lead singer — Renato Grancieri— playing their original Croatian songs and World music
• Folkloric dance ensemble Hrvatski Pleter (Adelaide)
• Various Croatian strings bands playing traditional Croatian music
• Various local Croatian bands and singers

Other highlights include:

• Special guest appearnces by political, media and sporting personalities with Croatian links, including AFL footballers:
  
  • Ivan Maric from the Adelaide Crows,
  • Steven Salopek from Port Adelaidem,
  • Alan Didak from Collingwood and,
  • Eugene Galekovic and Mark Rudan from A-League soccer club Adelaide United.
    
    
• Croatian National Radio TV (Sydney) will be recording all of the days events for a special TV program which will be broadcast on CMC (Croatian Music Channel). CMC is broadcast via satellite around the world!
• Vintage tractor and implement display by the Gawler Tractor and Engine Association

A disco/dance party featuring DJ Stevie Mink (Melb) and local DJs, will pump out the beats to continue the party late into the night.

The relaxed, picnic style atmosphere of Fešta is perfect for young families and children with attractions such as:

• FREE Face painting
• Amusement rides, side shows
• Hot Dogs, Hot Chips and Gelati
• A wrestling display by Snakepit Professional Wrestling feat. Croatian wrestler ‘John E Radic’
• A spectacular fireworks display at 9:30pm, and
• Delicious cakes and fresh espresso coffee for mums & dads.

The Fešta Cup -- The annual ‘Fešta Cup’ will be played this year between SA Super League soccer team Adelaide Croatia ‘Raiders’ and visiting team Croatia Whyalla SC.

Croatian food, wine and beer will be available throughout the day.
