As well as the usual abundance of Croatian cuisine to savour, other highlights at this year’s event include:

• Special guests from Melbourne, folkloric dance ensemble ‘Hrvatska Zora’ (Croatian Dawn)
• Folkloric dance ensemble Hrvatski Pleter (Adelaide)

Also performing on the day will be:

• Popular Adelaide Croatian band - ‘Zlatne Strune’ (Golden Strings) - playing popular Croatian music throughout the day
• Various Croatian strings bands playing traditional Croatian music
• Various local Croatian bands and singers

Other highlights include:

• Traditional Cooking Display with FREE sampling
• Special guest appearances by political, media and sporting personalities with Croatian links, including AFL footballers:
  
  • Ivan Maric from the Adelaide Crows,
  • Eugene Galekovic from A-League soccer club Adelaide United
    
• Vintage tractor and implement display by the Gawler Tractor and Engine Association

A disco/dance party featuring DJ Damo (Melb) and local DJs, continue the party late into the night.

The relaxed, picnic style atmosphere of Fešta is perfect for young families and children with attractions such as:

• FREE Face painting
• Amusement rides, side shows
• Hot Dogs, Hot Chips and Gelati
• Traditional Croatian “Heart Decorating”
• Wrestling display by Snakepit Professional Wrestling feat. Croatian wrestler ‘John E Radic’
• Spectacular fireworks display at 9:30pm, and
• Delicious cakes and fresh espresso coffee.

A new event for this year will be:

• A Junior Soccer Tournament with special guest teams coming from Melbourne to be part of Fešta:
  
  • Under 9’s and Under 11’s from St Albans Saints (Vic) and Melbourne Knights (Vic)
  • Playing against our own Adelaide Croatia ‘Raiders’ Juniors.

A big favourite from last year was the “Kamena s Ramena” competition (Boulder Throw) - and it‘s back again this year (sponsored by Grange Dental Clinic) as part of the traditional Croatian Village games that will be played.

An extensive selection of Croatian food, wine and beer will be available throughout the day.
