It is with great sorrow that we inform our Fešta community of the passing of dearly beloved member Josip ‘Joža’ Blazeka. Joža and Anna’s involvement in Fešta can not be understated, they have both been instrumental in setting the standard for our food offering from the very beginning. Sadly, this last Fešta was the only one that they were unable to attend in the last 20 years. Joža ran a very successful butcher shop in Adelaide for many years - everyone knew him and he knew everyone, and he helped build Fešta into what it is today with an enormous sense of pride. Whether it was preparing pigs and lambs for the spit, carving roasts, being the bread courier or simply chopping up endless mountains of cabbage salad, Joža never needed to be asked to volunteer - he was always there, always happy to be involved, and always working hard from morning til night. Our sincere condolences are extended to Anna, Dragica and Nenad, Vlado and Julie, and all the grandchildren. Počivao u Miru Božjem. Rest in Peace Joža. You will be missed by all of us at Fešta. 🙏🕯🇭🇷
